Independence Day Cocktails
Saturday is Independence Day and what says FREEDOM more than colorful mixed cocktails to top off sunshine and celebrations…the answer is nothing. Here are a few tested and approved red, white and blue cocktails to go with your fireworks this weekend!
Red, White & Boozy Margaritas
3 C. ice
2 oz. silver tequila
1 oz. triple sec
2 oz. grenadine
2 oz. blue curacao
Do each layer separately. For each layer combine ice, triple sec and tequila and then grenadine for the red layer, blue curacao for the blue and lime juice for the white.
Cherry Bomb Mimosas
1 C. pineapple juice
1/4 C. marschino cherry juice
1 bottle of champagne
- Combine pineapple juice w/cherry juice and top with champagne
Boozy Sour Watermelon Slushies
1/4 C. Sour Patch Watermelons
1 C. Vodka
1 C. Sprite
1 C. Lemonade
1 C. Ice
Add Sourpatch Watermelon gummies to vodka and soak overnight. In blender add 2 oz. flavored vodka, sprite, lemonade and ice. If you want, add pink food coloring and then blend. Dip rim of glass in sugar.
Drunk Jack Frost
1 C. Vodka
1 C. Prosecco
1/2 C. Blue Curacao
1/2 C. Lemonade
6 C. ice
In a blender combine all ingredients and pour into sugar rimmed glass. BOOM
Red Hot Shots
This one is super easy with only 2 ingredients.
1/4 oz. silver tequila
3/4 oz. Aftershock Hot & Cool cinnamon schnapps
Mix the two together and then pour into shot glasses
