Record Breaking Weekend

While everyone else is busy talking about new Covid cases we’re enamored with a whole other kind of record-setter. Sunday, June 28th, James Lukehart of Edmond, Oklahoma snagged an American paddlefish out of Keystone Lake that broke state records weighing in at 146.7 lbs. The paddlefish measured 70.5 inches in length and 45 inches in girth. This massive catch looks to break even the rod-and-reel world-record as the previous holder was caught in 2004 in Kansas and weighed 144lbs. Way to freaking go!
